Hyde Park will be home to the “district of the future”
If you’ve been to the Hyde Park area lately, you’ve probably noticed quite a bit of construction in the Route 9 area. This is going to be Bellefield’s new home in Historic Hyde Park, and what some call the “Neighborhood of the future” And from what I see, the future looks pretty bright.
Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park will be partly commercial, partly residential, agricultural and all will be environmentally friendly. The plan is to have two hotels, farm-to-table restaurants, a green village with food and retail stores, art galleries, boutiques and artist lofts. There will be a year round farmers market with produce grown in Bellefield and neighboring towns in the Hudson Valley.
There will be a main street in Bellefield for shopping and community gatherings. There will also be stylish apartments above the shops and boutiques. Bellefield will include more than 500 residences, from artist lofts to brownstones, private cottages and estates. Something for everyone, and you’ll never have to go too far for your needs.
Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park will embrace not only the future, but the past as well. Bellefield is built with the history of Hyde Park in mind, and this will be evident in some buildings and neighborhoods. It is important to preserve the historic integrity of the city.
Some people hate the idea of a new development, but it looks promising for Hyde Park and the entire Hudson Valley. Interested in learning more about Bellfield at Historic Hyde Park and their vision? Visit the Bellefield website.
